Looking for a home away from home? Rent the biggest room in this cozy house, with easy access to the entire Richmond metro area in a great location for exploring the city in your off time. The house is located on a quiet street, and you have the... quietest room. The room and bath are your private space. You would share the rest of the house with me (homeowner) and my 3 pets (a loveable dog and two playful cats). There are air purifiers in the living room and your room. Tree-shaded backyard with firepit and comfy chairs are here to enjoy!
The $1,000 rent includes all utilities, cleaning supplies, and shared groceries.
My pets (two cats and a dog) are very friendly and will want to spend time with you, but I do not expect you to take care of them while you live here. You can choose if you want to allow them into your space or not. The room has been closed off to them and thoroughly cleaned. And whatever he says, please do not let the cat go outside!
A bit about me: I'm Maggie, a 41-year-old professional who loves living in Richmond. I work at VCU in student support, and have just been admitted to a PhD program. I am active in the community, volunteering for organizations that help people in need, and advocating for policy changes in the city that would improve the quality of life for everyone. In my off time I am often either puttering around the house or taking the dog on an adventure. I'm pretty easy-going, and communicate my expectations up front. I've owned the house for three years and have made it into a cozy and clean sanctuary.
