Great Place to Settle!

I can't say enough great things about the leasing staff here! From the moment I moved in, they made everything seamless and stress-free. They were incredibly helpful every step of the way, answering all my questions and making sure I felt at home right away. What really stands out is how responsive and communicative they are— I never have to wonder what’s going on or chase anyone down for updates. Any time I reach out, I receive a clear, helpful answer. Would recommend The Model Tobacco Lofts to anyone searching the market.

Very Nice Place!

First off, the staff is great. Super nice & friendly, attentive to concerns, quick to respond & act, and willing to explain & help you understand any questions you may have. And, they make a point to remember you... by name! The property is very cool (an old, historic, Philip Morris facility) and the amenities are awesome! Better than any other property that I looked at in the area. That was the big selling point for me (check the website to see what I'm talking about...). It's a nice place to live where you'd want to have friends/family come visit as there are a lot of entertaining options available. It's a gated community, which is good, and I've yet to meet a single resident that wasn't nice/friendly. Last thing -- It's much quieter than I would have expected! Honestly. Certainly no problems on my floor, at least. I've had no issues with disruptive neighbors, loud music, late night partying, arguments in the hallway, whatever. I fact, my immediate neighbor happens to be a DJ, likes to play his music, and so made a point to introduce himself after I moved in just to be sure that his music wasn't too loud. Respectful. I appreciated that. Location is great. Just a few minutes from VCU, Richmond's downtown, &/or access to the highway (I-95). Now, the parking situation could be a bit better, but it's sufficient. That would be my only "complaint." Just seems a little crowded. Anyway, I'd recommend Model Tobacco to anyone looking to move to the Richmond southside area. For sure.

Meet Me At Model!

I highly recommend model tobacco as a place to live, they have a wide variety of stylish clean apartments to choose from, they have great amenities, they have residents events which is a great way to communicate with the staff and neighbors, the maintenance team is great at repairing things in a timely manner, the building cleaners are great and last but not least the office manager and agents are freaking awesome, very professional and friendly at all times.

AMAZING STAFF!!

From start to finish the staff goes beyond your expectations to help you find your home at Model Tobacco Lofts. They remember you and truly hear all of your wants and needs. This staff worked with me through so many complications until we finally signed the lease! The office atmosphere is well set with calm tunes as you walk in/wait. The creativity that went into transforming this place into beautiful lofts is OUTSTANDING! The amenities are great and fun! So far so good!! 10/10 recommended!

Cute unit, terrible living

Aggressive dogs on site, not nearly enough parking for residents- you will get towed, they will not credit you. Residents scream and fight in the hallways, police are constantly called. Fire department has a hard time entering the premises when needed. They will charge you random, excessive fees and claim there is no way to credit or look into the legitimacy of the charges. Awful complex, terrible management and cute units.
