It's known that the staff purposely don't answer residents' calls whose issues they don't want to deal with. They charged me over $300 on move out for damages that were done before I got there, which I mentioned word for word in the room condition form that their irresponsible staff lost. Barely responded to my constant emails and calls on the situation. Reported me to the credit agency even after I payed for everything. Run by students and a manager who have never had a job before.

I moved in when these apartments were first built last year and it turned into a nightmare quickly! The management doesn’t care to fix your issues unless they like you. We had some of the amenities taken away from us because that residents are nasty and let their pets pee in the hallway and not clean it up. People get washed and throw up all over the place and the staff have no urgency to clean it up. When I took hot steamy showers, I would sneeze a lot, nasal drip, watery eyes so I think my... bathroom had mold but they covered it up. The office staff were not inviting at all and acted like they had an attitude because you were bothering them even though it’s their job! I left because I was starting to see roaches in my unit and our unit was clean, we were starting to get gnats, and there was talk about rats because people aren’t clean and don’t put their trash down the trash chute! Look at the low star reviews because those are true! The high star reviews are from people who have gotten a tour or from parents who doesn’t even stay there!

FIRST we have never, not once see any security guard at the entry desk or on premises.
The swimming pool is always covered in green algae. There’s supposed to be an armed security person is the main reason we chose to live here- NOPE!
Have complained many times about this as well.

Joelle Reed and the staff scams students and are very unprofessional!! During the tour (11/22), was told wouldn’t have to pay reassignment fee. We couldn’t move in and let them know in April 6 2023, called the next day and Shay Miller told us verbally we would not have to pay the reassignment fee because they had a long waitlist of people looking for her floor plan. We were charged a reassignment fee in August. Reached out via phone call on 8/10 and spoke to Joelle Reed. She said she would look... into it and get back to me. No call back. I called again on 8/16 and asked for an update and said I had an email with it in writing and I would send along. No response to email or phone call back. Sent another email 8/30. No response. Called again 8/31, I spoke to Sianna today, she said now they don’t waive any reassignment fees and Joelle would not take my call. I’ve asked to speak to the property manager twice on 8/16 and 8/31 and no one will pass along my message. Three different staff including the assistant property manager have said they will waive the reassignment fee. They tell you one thing and then that is not the case! Do not trust anything they say because they are scamming these students any chance they get! Unprofessional because the staff will not return phone calls or emails!

Newest building with fresh amenities and spacious units!! Right next to Kroger and so close to VCU's campus--best spot in town!
